The Trafalgar Times is off to the Chalke Valley History Festival.

The Chalke Valley History Festival is running from the 23rd - 27th June 2021, in Broadchalke, (near Salisbury), in Wiltshire.

This year's Tented Programme includes highlights like The White Ship, Conquest, Anarchy, and the Wrecking of Henry VI's Dream by Charles Spencer, The Boundless Sea, a Human History of the Oceans by David Abulafia, A Marvel To Behold, Gold and Silver at the Court of Henry VIII by Timothy Schroder.

The new Outdoor Programme will feature "a blend of talks, debates and discussions, evening story-telling, living history, smaller break-out events, live music and much more besides, all of which can be accessed on just a single inexpensive ticket." And will include an audience re-enactment of the Battle of Trafalgar and fireside storytelling with Dan Snow, talks and quizzes by Al Murray, and talks by Charlie Higson, Neil Oliver, Tom Holland, and the marvellous History Tellers.

If you spot the Trafalgar Times team wearing our exclusive @TrafTimes merch then come and say hello! Keep an eye out for our exclusive t-shirt and hoodie designs to track us down, and let us know if you'd like to see them made available to buy. (We haven't yet had the heart to tell Admiral Ted that he isn't coming.)

The Saturday events have sold out but you can still book your tickets for the other days, here: https://programme.cvhf.org.uk/
